Metal Mummy

Seeing as I have done a post today on things I hate, I’m going to do one on things I love. I may even make a weekly thing of it, you lucky lucky devils.

This week, I love:

- My tumble dryer. Mum bought us one as an early Xmas present, and it’s saved the house from piles of laundry. What with the weather being a bit schizophrenic and naff of late, a tumble dryer is a very refreshing new member of the family.

- Envirofone. I’ve sent my old phone to them, as I have had a shiny new one. These guys offered a few quid more than Mazuma (who I usually use), so they are in my good books this week.

- James’ Cooking. Not just this week, I love his cooking every week. He’s so useful. And last night, made a very delicious tomato soup, and it was positively scrumptious.

- The Fireworks. Standing at my back door last night holding Freyja in my arms, watching the fireworks in neighbouring gardens. They were so beautiful, and Freyja’s awe was mesmerising. Apparently, when James showed her the fireworks the night before, she said “pretty”. I wish I was there for that, but holding her last night showing her the different colours made up for it.
