Eurgh. Rubbish.

It’s been a lovely couple of weeks having the in-laws to stay with us. They have helped massively and given me plenty of time to myself by taking Freyja out for trips, which has been lovely. It’s been great to be able to catch up on the housework and the laundry, although it has started to mount up again.
I just wish I wasn’t feeling so naff. Freyja was ill a few days ago, had a fever of 39 and clung to me all day, which completely knackered me out. Although, it was nice to have a bit of affection – she never usually hugs for so long, so that was the good point. She wasn’t well though, and after talking to my Health Visitor (my mum) we decided it would be due to either an ear infection or really bad teething. Turns out, it was probably the teething.
After that, I started feeling a bit rubbish with aches and pains around my ribs and back, and James felt off with the sweats and similar aches. I had a horrific ocular migraine which temporarily blinded me in one eye. That was nice. Then yesterday, I managed to get some chest pain which lasted from 11am that morning and is still faintly there now (24 hours later) – I’ve had it before, but it usually goes fairly quickly and I put it down to indigestion. Who knows what this is.
I’m in the wars, aren’t I?!
I’ve still managed to get a load more Xmas shopping done, work in the bar, been to my brother-in-law’s birthday bash and keep on top of my mum duties.
It’s been a lovely week overall. The one day of snow completed it though. I love the snow, so it was lovely to have some. Freyja’s just at the right age to appreciate it too, which was lovely to watch. It’s a shame it was washed away so quickly though – but at least it means I can drive to work without risk of being wrapped around a lamp-post or passing car.
I’ve lacked a bit in the whole blogging aspect this week, so I plan to get back on top of that over the next week. Looking forward to guest posting over at Becca’s blog too – and need to get some reviews published.
