Metal Mummy

What with all the madness that yesterday involved, I didn’t manage to get on the good ‘ol compy to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. So although it’s a day late, I’m doing that now.

I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas, filled with family, happiness and laughter – and the odd present, or two. Or gazillion. Oh, and not forgetting the truly delicious grub.

My very special hubby-to-be was a master of the kitchen yesterday and made a Christmas dinner Gordon Ramsay would be proud of. It was delicious. Absolutely delicious.

Freyja thoroughly enjoyed opening her presents, and she didn’t even play with the packaging and headed straight for the toys! How impressed was I?! She hasn’t left her Little Tikes car, her easel or her kitchen alone, and is thoroughly enjoying all the attention. Spoilt little bugger.

I was spoilt with clothes, perfume, money, books and a beautiful jewellery box from John Lewis (purple, of course) and James was chuffed with all of his presents, especially his Lego Technik set – you can never get too old for that!

Freyja is currently having a well deserved nap, whilst James has nipped out to pick up his parents. My family left this morning after having such a lovely time together. It was so nice being the host to a lovely fun day.

Now all I need to do is find homes for all these goodies. Who knows where I’m gonna put them all.
