Stale Bread: The Handy Snack

I make my daughter all manner of scrumptious things for breakfast, lunch, dinner and often inbetween.
What’s she choose to eat instead? A piece of stale toast that she left over from this morning.
Naughty bad mummy for not clearing up the plate.
Naughty bad mummy for not realising what cherub was doing until half the slice of stale toast had been eaten.
To be fair, I like stale bread. She must just be taking after me.
Hopefully it’ll be a few years before she finds a love of frozen peas, mint sauce sandwiches and hot chocolate powder…

We are forever thrusting hunks of bread at wailing kids in this house, it’s all they want when they are really hungry.
Jared eats frozen peas. Great way to keep him quiet while I do his tea :)
Shame he wont eat bread – only toast! and Only when its hot! :(
