Listography: Top 5 Celebrities You’d Love to Punch

The lovely Kate is having a bit of a blog overhaul at Kate Takes 5, and I, for one, will be missing the weekly Listography meme that she organises. After a conversation the other day, we decided to host it over here and the subject is my idea. Eeek. Hopefully, with enough pimping over Twitter etc, all the usual list-makers (and hopefully some new ones) will join in so that we don’t lose Kate’s list followers when her blog is otherwise engaged.
So, without further ado, I present to you: Top 5 Celebrities You’d Love to Punch
Have you ever been annoyed so much by a celebrity that you’d just love to wallop them (or if you don’t want to be that violent, you may have been inclined to trip up, wedgie, or slip them some laxative…)? I know I have, for no real reason sometimes. Maybe I’m just mean. I’d love to read about the celebrities that do your heads in. I’m sure everyone could think of 5 for their list – even those who don’t watch the TV (I admit, I’m not one of those people and adore my telly). Here’s my top 5…
1) Russell Brand. Mainly because my hubby would love to see him with a fist in his face. My hubby despises this man with the fire of a thousand suns. It doesn’t help that he’s married to Katy Perry and James thinks shes a hottie.
2) Gillian McKeith. Mainly for the whole I’m a Celebrity debacle. Honestly, why would she choose to go into the jungle if she’s going to complain about everything?! A complete wet lettuce if ever I saw one. One who really needs to eat some meat.
3) Al Murray. Oh my God. This man annoys me with a passion. He’s just.not.funny.
4) Gina Ford. Is she a celebrity? Well, I’ve heard of her, so I hope she counts. I will never understand her logic when it comes to parenting. This could take up a whole other post really, couldn’t it? I can’t fathom her and her techniques at all. I took one look at her book and sold it at a car boot sale. I’m sorry. I don’t mean to offend those of you who her regime and guidelines work for. They just don’t work for me. And for that, she can have a wedgie. I wouldn’t go as far as wanting to punch her, just a pull of the knickers to a place they shouldn’t go.
5) Angelina Jolie. Because she’s too damn hot for her own good.
So there you have it. My list of people who I’d happily punch/wedgie/trip up/send to the toilet for a long time.

Fab idea – Oooh, I could rant all day about some celebs.
I absolutely HATE Russell Brand – he actually makes me boak, and that hair, boak!
How come nobody has mentioned my No.1, guaranteed person to rile me right into a frenzy – guess who – Jeremy Kyle! Now there’s a face I would not tire of punching repeatedly, and maybe also a swift kick to the nether regions. ;o) Do you mind if I post this on my blog, I’m still a virgin blogger mind…bit slow on the take up. Thanks for following me, much appreciated indeed.

I actually said to Hannah that I’d punch Russell Brand 5 times instead of picking 5 different celebrities. I absolutely hate him. I’m glad I’m not alone! :)

A good strong list there indeed! I used to HATE Russell Brand (when he did Big Brothers Big Mouth), then I grew to like him thinking he was very funny and very clever but he’s gone downhill again. And I can’t be doing with Katy Perry – she very nearly made my list.

Esp like Gina Ford being nominated – she does my head in!
And Gillian, I am veggie but for the other side of the fence i would say she is not good PR for vegetarianism.

It seems myself and your husband have a shared hatred of Russell Brand. Although if I am honest he comes pretty low down in my ‘violence to be acted upon’ list
