Thanks to Suzanne for the fabulous alliterative name… bit of a gob full, but I like it…

The purpose of this very brief post is to introduce a new link-up-doo-dah each week. Having seen how successful Kate’s latest Listography was, it seems as though it’s not just me who’s really into her films…

I adore films. I found the Listography incredibly difficult this week – to think of my 5 top films was damn near impossible, and since publishing that post, so many other films have come flooding back to me.

So, my cogs got-a-whirring. How about I set up a new weekly link up, all about films? Each week, I will set a theme – a genre of film, or a decade, or whatever category I dream up. Then, you guys write a lovely post about a film (or films) that you associate with that theme – you can write whatever you like, whether it be the plot, a summary, your opinions, or why you love it so much – It’s all up to your own interpretations. Simples!

Hopefully, lots of you lovely lot will join in, and we can read about a wonderful variety of movies, and hopefully find some diamonds we haven’t seen yet. I love reading about films to watch, and love unearthing films I’ve not seen.

So what do you reckon? I think I’ll do the linky every Tuesday. It seems there aren’t THAT many available memes which start on Tuesdays. Do let me know if that day doesn’t suit, but I’ll be leaving each linky open for a week so as many of you can take part as possible.

Depending on how successful it gets, I may do a giveaway one day! Ooo err! We’ll see how it goes for now though.

I’m even going to design a little badge too! Not like I can use Photoshop or anything… I may just get James involved for the whole badge production. Just so that it doesn’t look like a toddler’s made it…

Anyway, any comments regarding the new meme would be fabulous. Any guidance/ideas would also be very welcome. I’ll look forward to Tuesday!
