Reasons to be Cheerful… Week 7

I’ve had such a lovely week, I’ve definitely got reasons to be a happy chappy. May even have to write more than 3!
1) So, on Tuesday, my mum arrived. I haven’t seen her since Christmas, so it’s lovely to have her. She’s staying for a week, which’ll be lovely.
2) One of the reasons my mum came to visit was because of the long-awaited gig by Rob Zombie which I was so excited to go to. Well, it was yesterday! And it was absolutely amazing. Well worth waiting 9 years to see… It also meant a lovely child-free trip to London, knowing that Freyja was in safe hands.
3) The other reason my mum has come to visit is because it’s my birthday! My actual birthday is on Monday, but I’m celebrating it on Friday. We are having a night off from being responsible parents and going out on the razzle with all our lovely friends. It’ll involve a tipple or 2, dancing like pillocks and lots of great mates. Brilliant.
4) I’m very excited about a new venture of mine. I’m branching out into the world of linkys and setting up my own meme. It’s quite scary – I hope people actually link up! As of Tuesday, I’ll be doing a “Movie Meme” – a chance to chat about your favourite films in various genres etc – all set by me! I’m hoping to find lots of hidden gems because of this, and also get to meet lots of lovely bloggers and find out about their film tastes.
5) Finally, it all seems so much real now that the hotel for Cybermummy IS BOOKED! Not only have I got my ticket sitting in my inbox, but I also have somewhere to sleep! For 2 nights! With 2 fellow bloggers, so I’m not on my own. Brillo!
There you have it. Not 3, but 5 reasons to be cheerful this week. And that’s not even mentioning the joy that is my baby girl who makes me cheerful every single second of every single day. Unless she’s grumpy…
