Product Review: Halos N Horns Lotion & Bubbles
Posted in Product Reviews
Previously, like two days ago, I published a review about the Halos N Horns fruity toothpaste. Seeing as they are being my awesome sponsors for Cybermummy, I also agreed to do a review about a couple of their other new products; the bubble bath and the lotion.
You can see my bubble bath review (as well as a couple of their other products) here – I managed to review this a while ago, and can I just say, we are still using it. Freyja has a massive wobbler, screaming “BUBBBBBBLES” at the top of her lungs if she doesn’t have any of this bubble bath at bathtime. The worst scenario happened the other week. We ran out. It was horrible. It’s OK though; a quick trip to Boots fixed it. I just love how she smells when she comes out of the bath. So scrumptious.
As for the lotion – it’s lovely stuff. She still gets a few dry patches here and there, usually when she’s teething or if she’s been in contact with strongly scented clothes or people. We dab a bit of this lovely lotion on and it relieves the itching for her. She has learned how to uncap it herself though. Well, to be honest, she uncapped it a few months ago and covered my sofa in it, the little bugger. Nowadays, she uncaps it and puts it on herself. Which is all well and good until you find huge great splodges of it all over her face, body and feet.
Not quite as annoying as vaseline though.
As with all of the Halos N Horns range, the lotion is free from all the chemical nasties. It is so reassuring to know that I can use such lovely products without running the risk of causing Freyja any dermatitis.
I’ve recommended this stuff to a number of my friends, both bloggy and “real-life” – I wouldn’t do that if I didn’t like them as much as I do. Regardless of my fabby sponsorship opportunity.
You can find these products in your local Boots store, with an RRP of £3.99, it’s a little more expensive than some of its’ competitors, but in my opinion, it’s worth spending them extra pennies so that your child isn’t covered in nasty parabens and chemicals. Well worth it.
*I received one bottle of bubble bath and one bottle of lotion for this review. My views remain honest, as always*

Awesome! Will give it a go then, hopefully Faye will stop looking like a snake with her scaley bits! Thanks!! xx

These halo’s n horns washy stuffs sound brill! I’m starting to find the johnsons stuff is drying out Faye’s skin and scalp – do you know if the Halo’s n Horns products are tear free? She hasn’t quite mastered the art of not putting the bath water in her eyes yet! If so, think we shall give some of their products a whirl! :) xx
