Product Review: Halos N Horns Toothpaste
Posted in Product Reviews
As part of my awesome sponsorship by Halos N Horns for the upcoming Cybermummy 2011 (Sidenote: Excited Squee!), I was sent a sample of their fruity toothpaste.
It’s not like your ordinary toothpaste. In fact, I could go as far as to say it smelt a little odd when I first uncapped it. That’s not because it smelt gross. It was just different. It’s not minty. It’s fruity.
When Freyja uses it, she smells divine afterwards. Almost edible (more than she is usually). It cleans her teeth well and leaves her tooty-pegs sparkly and white. Beautiful.
They have added 1450ppm of fluoride to help protect against tooth decay and there’s no nasty stuff in it either – it’s SLS free, which is the foaming agent in conventional toothpastes. This also means that when your little ‘un swallows it (which is inevitable), it won’t cause any damage. Obviously, try and limit the swallowing and encourage the spitting, but if your child is anything like mine, they will drink some of it.
With an RRP of £2.29 for a 75ml tube, it’s up there with their conventional competition. The bananas and strawberries win my vote though!
*I received one tube of Halos N Horns toothpaste for this review. My views and opinions remain honest, despite the Cybermummy sponsorship ;)*

I’m going to try it. When we were in Oz Joseph loved the kids toothpaste but we can’t use it here, as its too low in fluoride (in Oz water is fluoridated, here in NW england it’s not)
