I’m going on holiday! Like, tomorrow! To Turkey. Olu Deniz to be precise.

We’re all packed. Freyja’s Penelope Trunki is packed with probably way too many clothes for a week away, and her little bag is full to the brim of jigsaws and cBeebies magazines. My case is packed with my clothes, James’ clothes (including a very non-manly sleeveless T Shirt that is a little bit too tight and makes him look like the third Pet Shop Boy – I tried my damndest to hide it) and some more of Freyja’s clothes. I just couldn’t stop.

We’re on our way up to Stoke shortly after James has pigged out on Nachos and jalepenos. Which means the journey will involve him burning a hole into his car seat. Yum. Mum’s not going to be there when we arrive as she’s swanned off to Wembley to watch the FA Cup Final (Despite my nonchalant attiitude towards footie, I really do hope the Potters win, seeing as that’s my city! Well, not mine. But you know what I mean).

We’re setting off for East Midlands airport tomorrow evening at some unearthly hour in the morning and will be arriving in Olu Deniz shortly after. I’m dreading the flight. Actually dreading it. A 2 year old? On a plane? For four hours? When she doesn’t nap on things like planes?

I’ll go sit somewhere else I think and leave James and mum to it.

I’m going to schedule a couple of blog posts for the week I’m away. I can’t leave my blog altogether and I have a competition to go live this weekend, so watch this space on that. If I have time, I’ll also set up the Movie Meme (don’t want to miss a week!) and I’ll comment on everyone’s entries on my return.

Apart from that, and an unevitable cold turkey approach to Facebook and Twitter and Brew Drinking Thinkings, I think I’m all set!
