Product Review: Bags of Love
Posted in Product Reviews
When I look at companies such as Bags of Love, that specialise in producing one-of-a-kind sentimental products, in the past I’ve always shunned them. I’ll be honest, what was the point in having a big goo-ey picture of my other half on a pillow case when I’m lying there next to him? As you can tell, I never used to be a sentimental sort. Sure, I kept little memories and snippets in a box shoved at the back of my wardrobe to gather dust, but nothing on display.
That was, until Freyja came along. I’d happily splatter her face on anything going and I’ve turned into what can only be described as a big soppy git, so when I had the opportunity to choose a keepsake and emblazon it with my beautiful girls face, I took them up on the offer quicker than you could say Sudacrem Mohawk.
Bags of Love are one of the most recognisable names when it comes to the manufacture of photo gifts. Their range is massive. Seriously. Massive. From photo canvasses, to calendars to mugs and cushions and one of my other faves – the photo blanket, they seemingly offer it all and at reasonable prices.
I chose to review one of their cushions – a lovely feather filled number (although you can opt for a polyester pad) with the back lined in a pale pink suede-effect material. I was really impressed with the quality of the cushion and the photograph came out marvellously. I was even more impressed at how quick the turnaround was. I was gobsmacked when the postman arrived with a package (which I’m pretty sure he knew was a cushion as he was hugging it) within 2 days.
Bags of Love are a perfect site to consider for those unique gifts – ideal for anniversary gifts, birthday gifts or any other personalised gift ideas that you can think of. Such a lovely keepsake and one I will treasure forever.
Make sure you keep an eye out on my blog over the coming days. I will be posting a competition in association with Bags of Love, where you can win your very own photo cushion with whatever picture you choose to be added.
