About Me

I’m Hannah, a 25 year old new mum, to my gorgeous daughter, Freyja Éowyn. She was born on the 11th April, 2009 and has made my fiancé, James, and myself VERY proud parents.

I’m sure other parents would agree when I say that being one is pretty much a full time job, and that’s all I do at the moment. I work part time at a restaurant nearby, but I won’t be able to work there for much longer, as we are moving back to Portsmouth, hopefully towards the end of April, as we have managed to get a foot on the property ladder and are buying our very own 3 bedroom house just opposite St Mary’s Hospital in a fab new development. We can’t wait!

I’m loving being a new mum, and learning new things every single day. I could honestly say I could watch her for hours, but in my spare time (when I have it…), I love listening to metal music, watching films, spending time with family and friends, dining out, reading and one of these days, exercising to get rid of my (still there) jelly belly.

The aim of this blog is for me to just write stuff which is of interest or of benefit to me when it comes to being a mum. Like I said, we learn so much every day, I’m gonna need somewhere to jot it down. The other main aim is to record all the major, and minor, milestones in Freyja’s life. I hope I enjoy writing about them as much as I enjoy being there for them. My aim is to keep the blog up to date until she’s all grown up – whether I achieve this or not is yet to be seen – we shall have to watch this space!
