We didn’t do anything majorly special for it (I would have, if we had any spare cash lying around!) but Freyja did get him a card, a pair of Dad socks (He wanted them to add to his Uncle socks) and a picture frame with a photograph of her surrounded by two of her footprints.

Getting the footprints was a, let’s say “interesting”, task – basically involving me splatting some paint onto her foot when she was lying down, and plonking her foot onto some card when she least expected it. I think I did quite well – very little paint got anywhere else! A bit on a towel. But that will come off. Hopefully…

It was a nice relaxing day anyway, and James the proud daddy has taken his photo off to work, for pride of place on his work desk.
